well, my fluff thread on eggs went over pretty well, so i thought i would start one on bacon.

now, of course, bacon and eggs go together.

that is axiomatic.

GRITS is a Southern staple, in fact it's kind of hard to find it served in a restaurant outside of the South. I lived in Texas for a month and I had it almost every day served with breakfast...I LOVE IT, but I don't know what it comes from.

It's a starch, has the consistancy of a cereal, and is served hot. I liked it served with a little butter, salt and pepper. The closest thing I can think of is Cream of Wheat cereal, but 'grittier'. I leave it to my esteem countrymen of the noble South to fill in the blanks.

with working on client's projects and playing on this board i finally squished in some time in to finish my site.

it isn't anything fancy with animations and shockwave magic shooting all over the place like i have done in the past.

it is simple, clean, and straight forward boring html.. the work is just a small portion of what i have done over the last year or so.

my family will not be attending the march.

i respect bill and what he has accomplished, but i believe that attempts to control the march and the marchers, are misplaced -- even damaging for victims of abuse -- who have been controlled enough!.

the last thing victims of abuse need is to be told to keep up appearances.

What you referenced means zip, zero and nada to what MIke is trying to do. He is taking it a step beyond the reporting and pressing criminal charges, that is something that has to be done in person.

i rarely receive any negative e-mail, but i did receive a rather interesting e-mail within the last 48 hours.. .

then that person told me that a ms who was allegedly "on the fringes" was guided by him/her to this board and happened to see me use a rather colorful, but made-up metaphor, namely "dipf***.

" the dub was horrified and scared away never to return because of that and also because of what he saw on some other debate another well-known poster was engaged with.

i have been laying on my bed for awhile now, trying very hard to just stay still.

today, i left this board for a break.

while typing it out, there was a steak knife at my side (from cleaning guck out of the mouse), but it beckoned me.
